CCTV: Kadapa SI turns hero as he jumps on car to stop liquor smuggler, hangs on bonnet for 2 km

The Kadapa police spotted a car with Telangana registration during the vehicle check. The driver did not stop the car after a police team led by SI Gopinath Reddy asked him to do so. Instead, he tried to hit them with the car. The SI chased the car and jumped on to it and hung on the bonnet for 2 km.Meanwhile, the SI broke the front windshield and compelled the smuggler to stop the vehicle. The cop’s heroic effort caught on CCTV footage. The accused was identified as Nageshwar Reddy and the police recovered 80 liquor bottles from the car. He was smuggling liquor from Hyderabad to Pulivendula.
