CM Jagan launches Vedadri Lift Irrigation Scheme
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy unveiled the pylon remotely at his camp office for YSR Vedadri Lift Irrigation scheme on Friday. According to the sources, Vedadri Lift Irrigation scheme will be constructed on the river Krishna in Jaggaiahpeta Mandal and it aimed to complete the project in February 2021. CM YS Jagan said that the previous TDP government ignored the problems of Krishna district people. The estimated cost of the project is 491 crore with a water capacity of 2.7 TMC and will provide water for irrigation 38,607 acres in Jaggayyapeta, Vatsavai and Penuganchiprolu zones. Minister Anilkumar Yadav laid the foundation stone for the scheme. Click the video for more information.
