Andhra Pradesh High Court issues notices in 'Ava' lands case
AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday issued passed interim orders stopping all further proceedings in the Ava (low lying) land purchases by the government for allotting houses to the landless people in the state. According to the reports, a PIL was filed by Adapa Srinivasa Rao citing the lands purchased by the government are not appropriate to construct houses for the poor people which are inundated during the heavy rains. After hearings, the High Court issued notices to respondents and passed interim orders stalling the proceedings in the lands purchases. Click the video for more information.
