People celebrate Janmashtami by keeping fast the whole day, showing love for Lord Krishna by singing devotional songs, and keeping a vigil into the night as Lord Krishna was born in the mid-night. People believe that by praying Lord Krishna this day, will bring good fortune. Mega Star Chiranjeevi's daughter-in-law Upasana has offered prayers to Lord Krishna at home.
