The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday gave a stay on gazette regarding the AP Decentralisation Act and CRDA Repeal Act issued by the YSRCP government after the assent of the Governor. The High Court said the stay will be in force till August 14. The state government was asked to file a counter-affidavit and posted the hearing to August 14. The three-judge Bench of the High Court gave stay after hearing petitions filed by Amaravati farmers and others requesting to cancel gazette notification. The TDP, Congress, CPI, CPM, and Lok Satta are opposing three capitals for AP.
