AP HC to hear lunch motion petition over stay on 3 capitals
The High Court has accepted the four petitions opposing the gazette notification of AP Decentralisation and CRDA Repeal Acts issued by the AP government. A three-member bench comprising Justice Akula Venkata Sesha Sai, Justice Satyanarayana Murthy, and Justice Rakesh Kumar will hear the petitions on Tuesday afternoon. Petitioners are against shifting of the Chief Minister’s Office, Raj Bhavan, Secretariat and offices of the HoDs to Visakhapatnam. Even, they challenged the reports of GS Rao, Boston Consulting Group, and High-Power panel in the High Court. Some more petitions already filed in the High Court against decentralisation of capital will come up for hearing on August 6.
