Rafale fighter jets landed in Ambala air base
It is a historic day for India as the first batch of the nation's five Rafale fighter jets landed at the Indian Air Force (IAF) airbase at Ambala on Wednesday. These five multi-role aircraft were the part of the 36 aircraft deal with France last year. The double engine based Rafale jets took off from the Merignac airbase in French port city of Bordeaux on Monday and reached India after covering 7,000 km. It made a single stop in the United Arab Emirates after air-to-air refuelling process. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh shared the video.
