INS Kolkata welcomes Rafale fighter jets, enters Indian airspace
Soon after taking off from UAE, a contingent of five Rafale fighter jets have established contact with the Indian Navy’s warship INS Kolkata deployed in the western Arabian Sea. The fighter jets have stopped in UAE which are on their way to Ambala airbase in Haryana from France to join the Indian Air Force fleet. An analyst said that the India ordered for Rafale jets after the conflict with China at LAC to strengthen its air defence on the borders. After almost two decades, five multirole Rafale fighter jets came to India.
