The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to give stay on the AP High Court verdict in Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar case and adjourned the hearing for three weeks. On behalf of the AP government, senior legal counsel and former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi has brought to the notice of the Supreme Court that the verdict of the High Court was contradictory regarding the appointment of the State Election Commissioner and sought an interim stay. But the bench led by Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde said that the final verdict will be pronounced after three weeks.
