Goa reopens to tourists from today, rules for travellers

GOA: Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Goa tourism department opened its doors to domestic tourists from 2nd July. According to the reports, Goa, the picture-perfect destination of India all set to welcome the visitors to cherish the beauty of beach destination. This is one of the major decisions taken by the government during the Coronavirus pandemic. Tourism is the major sector in Goa which is the major source of the state to boost the economy.

The government will allow domestic tourists with certain conditions, the visitors of the state need to carry negative Coronavirus report or else they need to undergo tests at the state border. It is mentioned that the visitors who tested positive for Coronavirus can go back to their states or stay in state-run quarantine centres.
