02-07-2020 Thu 14:57
The ACB may seek the extension of Atchannaidu’s custody in the Rs 150 crore ESI scam. In this regard, the investigating agency is likely to file a petition in the ACB court. Officials may tell the court that Atchannaidu did not cooperate with the ACB by not answering the questions related to the scam.
The ACB may ask the court not to grant the bail as the TDP leader may influence the witnesses. Meanwhile, the ACB would take some more persons into custody in both Telugu states and probe is going on to ascertain the role of a few AP Secretariat employees in the scam.
