AP Legislative Assembly Speaker Thammineni Seetharam and his family visited Tirumala on Thursday and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Later, speaking to the media, Thammineni flayed the TDP for obstructing the passage of the Appropriation Bill in the AP Legislative Council. “Salaries for government employees and pensions for beneficiaries were not paid on July 1st as the money bill was not passed in the Council,” he stated. The Speaker said no political party except the TDP had obstructed the money bill in the AP Council. Thammineni has slammed the TDP for making allegations in the purchase of 108 and 104 ambulances.
