Telangana governmnet finds private labs violating Coronavirus testing norms

HYDERABAD: Telangana government expressed dismay over the Coronavirus tests conducting in the private labs in the state. According to the reports, the Telangana government hinted that severe actions will take against the private labs which are allegedly violating the norms in conducting the COVID-19 tests according to the ICMR norms.

G Srinivasa Rao, the State Director of medical and health said that a team consists of senior microbiologists and senior officers from the medical and health department inspected 16 out of 18 private labs in the state and found many of them are violating the norms in conducting the Coronavirus tests.
He stated that the team found a lot of differences in the data in registers and uploaded in Telangana and ICMR portals. Click the video for more information.
