Lockdown unplanned, unconstitutional: Asaduddin Owaisi

HYDERABAD: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday said that he is criticising the lockdown because it is unconstitutional. According to the sources, MP Asaduddin Owaisi slammed the BJP government for the present situation of the migrant workers in the nation. He said that the migrant workers should have been sent back to their homes at the end of the March during the Coronavirus cases are very less. Asaduddin Owaisi said that the lockdown is unconstitutional and alleged that the Modi is violating the Seventh Schedule of the Constitution.

He said that States are responsible for law and order. He questioned why the chief ministers of the states are following the unconstitutional orders of the Modi government.
