Man jumps in front of CM KCR’s convoy, taken into custody

A man obstructed the convoy of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Gun Park in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Immediately, the police took him into custody and cleared the way for the CM’s convoy. The incident took place when KCR was leaving after offering floral tributes to martyrs at the Martyrs’ Memorial in Gun Park on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day. He was identified as Hanumanth Naik working as a temporary driver in the GHMC’s Disaster Management. The police registered a case against Naik in Saifabad police station. Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar became serious on police, who were on duty, and ordered for a probe.
