History in the making: SpaceX propels two NASA Astronauts into orbit
Advertisements
SpaceX, the first private company, came forward to launch people into orbit. It is a historic feat achieved previously by only three governments, namely, the US, Russia, and China. SpaceX has successfully blasted off with two NASA astronauts Bob Behnken (49) and Doug Hurley (53) into orbit from the US state of Florida on their way to the International Space Station. This launch has also assumed significance as it launched humans into orbit from US soil for the first time in nearly a decade.

Reports suggest that these two NASA astronauts will stay in the International Space Station orbit for four months.
