Maruti Suzuki at Manesar Plant; KIA Motors in AP resumes production
The country’s largest car-maker, Maruti Suzuki, has resumed its production at its Manesar plant. After 50 days of the lockdown period implemented by the government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the company has okayed 2,500 workers on the first day of production following the guidelines suggested by the government.
In the same line, KIA Motors in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh has begun its production. KIA representatives said that the manufactured Cars are being sent to Chennai, and from there, it is supplied to Sri Lanka via waterways.
