New Covid-19 cases could halt in India by May 21, says MSEPP study
A study by a group of researchers of the Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy (MSEPP) have stated that new coronavirus cases could halt in India by May 21. The study opined that spread of coronavirus was prevented in India by imposing prolonged lockdown. The MSEPP researchers came to the conclusion that a halt of new positive cases in India by May 21 after analysing the rise of Covid-19 cases in Asian and European countries as well as different states in India. However, they cautioned against giving nod for largescale movement of migrant workers.
