PATIALA: In a shocking incident, a group of people chopped off the hand of the police for stopping the group violating the lockdown rules. The bizarre incident took place in Patiala, Punjab. According to the sources, the police were attacked by the miscreants at the vegetable market when they are looking after the lockdown situation in the locale. It is learnt that a group of Nihangs attacked the police officers and Mandi Board officer at the market in Patiala. The police officer identified as Harjeet Singh, whose hand was chopped off shifted to the hospital and undergoing the treatment. The issue created ripples across the locale.
