AP new SEC Kanagaraj meets Governor after taking charge

Andhra Pradesh new State Election Commissioner (SEC) Justice V Kanagaraj has met Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan on Saturday after taking charge. The AP government appointed the Madras High Court retired Judge Kanagaraj as the SEC after N Ramesh Kumar was removed from the SEC post through an ordinance. The expulsion of Ramesh Kumar from his post and appointment of new SEC took place within 24 hours. Before retirement, Kanagaraj served as a judge in the Madras High Court for nine years. Later, the new SEC will meet Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
