KCR govt may impose Sec 144 in Telangana to stop spread of coronavirus?
With the rise in Covid-19 positive cases, the Telangana government has been taking various measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has convened a review meeting with all district collectors and SPs at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday. The government is contemplating to restrict large gatherings in public places across the State. According to sources, the government may impose Section 144 in Telangana to stop the spread of Covid-19. The government’s purpose is to prevent people from coming out of their houses frequently.
