F to F with TDP leaders over postpone of local body polls
In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, Andhra local body polls have been postponed for six weeks. The state election commission took a decision. Former minister Nakka Anand Babu, while representing his party cadre has welcomed the move of election postponement due to coronavirus threat and at the same time expressed fear alleging that for the next six weeks they have to witness the alleged attack and other means of torture by the alleged ruling party cadre. TDP senior leader has alleged that they have not come across with such terrible incidents that took place ever before. He has alleged that the police department has been fully supporting the ruling party cadre in the nomination process of their candidates. He has cited the names of few places where undemocratic means of nomination process took place. He has questioned AP DGP Sawang on some of the cases filed against TDP cadre.
