AMARAVATI: The State Election Commissioner N Ramesh Kumar declared Andhra Pradesh Local Body Polls have postponed for six weeks after deadly Coronavirus. Addressing the conference, SEC Ramesh Kumar said that the Centre declared a national emergency after Corona scare after WHO declared Corona as Global pandemic and added that local body elections are postponed to preventive and safety measure to control the Coronavirus spreading. It is learnt that ballot boxes will be used for the elections and the voters to be standing in a long quest to franchise their vote which will become a threat to them after a virus attack.
