Then and now- Jagan and Chandrababu convoys stopped in Vizag airport

Tension prevails in the Visakhapatnam airport premises as a large number of the ruling YSRCP workers and leaders have prevented TDP president Chandrababu Naidu from going to Pinagadi village in Pendurthi Mandal in Visakhapatnam district. TDP Chief is supposed to meet the farmers at Pendurthi and in Vizianagaram later in the day. But his move was obstructed by the YSRCP cadre asking him whether he supports CM YS Jagan's decision on Visakhapatnam as the executive capital. YSRCP followers have launched the protest near the airport by raising the banners and placards written with ‘Uttarandhra Drohi Chandrababu’ and ‘Go Back Babu’. The incident reminded of the then opposition leader YS Jagan, who was obstructed at Vizag airport from participating in a dharna demanding special category status(SCS) for the state in Visakhapatnam on January 26, 2017, when TDP was in power.
