South Korean govt’s KOTRA responds over KIA plant shifting from AP

South Korean government’s apex trading body Korea-Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) has made it clear that the KIA has no plans to shift its car production unit from Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh to elsewhere in Tamil Nadu. The KOTRA stated that the KIA enjoys full support from the YSRCP government. In a statement issued by the Delhi office of the KOTRA, it said that Andhra Pradesh has always been one of the investor-friendly states in the country. A few media outlets have published reports that the KIA wants to shift its base from Andhra Pradesh.
