GSI reacts on discovery of 3000 tonne gold deposits in Uttar Pradesh
UTTAR PRADESH: Geological Survey of India dismissed the rumours of 3000 tonnes of gold deposits found in Soanbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. Reacting to the rumours circulating in media, GSI gave clarity on the gold deposits in Soanbhadra. In a statement, GSI officials asserted that they didn't trace ant gold deposits in Soanbhadra, Uttar Pradesh and confirmed that the news doing rounds on social media and news channels is fake. It is known knowledge that a piece of news creating a buzz in across the country in which it is mentioned that the GSI officials found nearly 3000-tonne gold deposits in Soanbadhra, Uttar Pradesh which is 5 times greater than gold reserves in India.
