BJP govt in Karnataka to implement capital decentralisation; Assembly gives nod
Taking a cue from the AP government, the BJP government in Karnataka has decided to implement decentralisation of administration. The Karnataka government has taken a decision to shift some of the government offices to other cities from the State. In this regard, the Karnataka Legislative Assembly passed the capital decentralisation bill. The Karnataka government’s decision will give an advantage to the Jagan-led AP government which is facing resistance from opposition parties. The YSRCP leaders are happy over the decision taken by the Karnataka government.
