According to Prof K Nageshwar, there is some truth in the news published by Reuters over Kia Motors is planning to shift from Andhra Pradesh to Tamil Nadu. He has said that Kia wants to shift its base from AP to Tamil Nadu for two reasons as quoted by Reuters. First reason is that the Jagan government wants to review industrial incentives extended to the Kia Motors by AP government and another reason is the implementation of 75 per cent local reservation. Nageshwar has stated that Kia is holding talks with the Tamil Nadu government with its sister concern Hyundai.
