High Court seeks counter affidavit from CBI on CM Jagan's Petition
HYDERABAD: Telangana High Court on Tuesday heard the plea of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy challenging CBI orders against dismissing his exemption plea to the court in illegal assets case and money laundering. According to the sources, the HC ordered CBI court to file a counter affidavit in this regard before February 6. It is learnt that YS Jagan mentioned in the petition that it is not possible to attend the court on every Friday after having constitutional duties and it also becoming a burden to the state treasury. Earlier, CBI special court dismissed YS Jagan petition over seeking exemption from personal appearance before the court. For more information watch the video.
