AP govt may scrap Legislative Council if it rejects three capitals bill
The Decentralisation and Development Bill will be tabled in the Legislative Council for discussion on Tuesday. Opposition MLCs and ministers will speak on the bill. As the TDP has the majority in the Council, the AP government is contemplating various options if Decentralisation and Development Bill is rejected. One of the options is to abolish the Council so that the bill will be passed in the Assembly. However, YSRCP top leaders and ministers are confident of the passage of the bill in the Council.
