Supreme Court slams Jamia students
NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court of India on Monday severely criticised the Jamia students' shut down on Sunday. Chief Justice of India SA Bobde said that they will hear the pleas related to the Jamia Milia Islamia issues on Tuesday only if the students stop riots. SC added that if the destruction of public property and violence continues, the court will not hear any pleas. SC also stated that students don't have any right to take law and order in their hands. Delhi police filed cases against Jamia Student over the riots during anti-CAA protests.
