NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court of India on Friday refused to pass an order to provide protection to the two women petitioners who filed a petition to enter the Sabarimala temple in Kerala. Chief Justice of India SA Bobde said "The situation at moment is explosive. We don't want any violence". The Apex Court said that there is an age-old practice going on for a thousand years and can't pass the order in favour of petitioners now. In 2018, the Supreme Court of India passed a verdict allowing women of all ages to enter into Sabarimala temple.
