New Chief Justice of India SA Bobde visits Tirumala
The new Chief Justice of India, Sharad Arvind Bobde has visited the holy temple of Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala of Chittoor district, on Saturday. Temple authorities have made elaborate arrangements for the Chief Justice of India to participate in the Sahasra Deepaalankaara ritual. Justice Bobde succeeded Justice Ranjan Gogoi as the Chief Justice of India. Sharad Arvind Bobde was sworn in as India's 47th CJI on November 18, 2019, by the President of India Ram Nath Kovind at a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
