Governor Recommends President's Rule in Maharashtra

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has reportedly recommended President’s Rule in Maharashtra as the parties failed to form a government in the state. The governor has given time to the NCP till 8.30 PM today to prove its strength. It is learnt that Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena are holding talks with each other and internal discussions are going on in NCP as well. Congress leaders Ahmed Patel, Mallikarjun Kharge and KC Venugopal would be leaving for Mumbai later in the day to hold talks with NCP chief Sharad Pawar.
