Police personnel in an inebriated state created a ruckus in Ayappa puja in Khammam Urban mandal. ASI Daniel of Raghunadhapalem visited the Ayappa mandap with shoes and created commotion. He came to the mandap in an inebriated state and argued with the devotees to end the puja. As a result there was a heated argument between the devotees and the police personnel. With the involvement of media, the matter was brought to the notice of the higher-ups. Then the SI of the village, Santosh pacified the devotees.
