Sunni Waqf Board Lawyer Says Not Satisfied With Judgement On Ayodhya
A five-justice Constitution bench of the Supreme Court gave its verdict on Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid issue. The Supreme Court observed the title dispute was a matter that could not be decided on the basis of faith and belief, but as per law. The Supreme Court has given the entire disputed 2.77-acre land for the construction of Ram Temple.
Reacting to the Ayodhya Supreme Court verdict, Zafaryab Jilani, Sunni Waqf Board lawyer said that, "We respect the judgement but we are not satisfied, we will decide further course of action." He added that, ''Ayodhya verdict has a lot of contradictions, will seek a review. We will consult to file a review or not. We ask people to maintain peace and we will take whatever legal recourse we can.''
