Supreme Court Announces Sensational Verdict On Ayodhya Land Case

The Supreme Court delivered its final verdict on the Ayodhya dispute today. SC directed the setting up of Ram temple at the disputed site 2.77 acres site at Ayodhya. The top court also directed the Centre to allot a five-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a new mosque.
The five-judge constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi had reserved the judgement on October 16 after a marathon hearing of 40 days. The other members of the bench are Justices SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer.
