Korutla MLA's PA washed away in SRSP waters

In a tragic mishap, Personal Assistant of Korutla TRS MLA Vidyasagar Rao was washed away in the swirling waters of the SRSP canal on Sunday. The person was identified as Girish Takoor who is Rao’s PA and senior assistant in Panchayatraj department. The incident took place while he along with his friends went to a canal between Lingampet and Anthargaon bypass road in Jagtial district. While his friends were at the bank, Girish stepped into the water and was drowned. Police officials started searching for the body with the help of local swimmers but could not find the body. The search operation is underway.
