CM YS Jagan Pay Tributes To Police Martyrs On Police Commemoration Day

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mekathoti Sucharita, state DGP Gautam Sawang, district CP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao and other higher officials paid rich tributes to police martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the service of nation as a part of Police Martyrs Commemoration day at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium.
Addressing the meeting, Jagan told that the government will always give its helping hand to the police who serve the state. He further added that the salaries of home guards has been increased to Rs. 21,000 from Rs. 18,000. He also told that the government has introduced an insurance cover of Rs. 30 lakh for home guard and Rs. 40 lakh for police personnel who dies while performing duties.
