Watch: ISRO's Chandrayaan 2 sends back its first image of the Moon

India's second mission to the moon Chandrayaan-2 Lander Vikram has captured the first image of the moon from lunar orbit. The said image was captured from a height of about 2,650km from the lunar surface on August 21st and it was made public on August 22nd. ISRO has identified mare Orientale basin and Apollo craters on the surface of the moon. The Chandrayaan 2 mission would be the first in the world to reach near the south pole of the moon.
