Amaravati, the state capital region of Andhra Pradesh, has become the subject of dispute between the opposition TDP and the ruling YSRCP on the issue of its development. Doubts have arisen after the state government taking steps towards the state capital region, the moment it has come to the power. AP Minister Botsa making comments that Amaravati is the flood-prone area and reminding the reports of Sivaraman Committee, these give an indication that the state government may opt for choosing a better option for it. Minister Botsa said the issue will be discussed shortly. Reacting to it, the main opposition chief Chandrababu Naidu has questioned the state government presenting some facts and alleged that it is a part of a conspiracy by YSRCP government in the name of floods.
