Upendra inspired by YS Jagan: Demands jobs for locals of Kannada
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked companies to prefer the locals first for the employment and later of their choice. CM Jagan has also passed a law to provide 75% reservation to local youths in all private companies taken up under the PPP model in the state. Now the same idea is being demanded by Kannada actor turned politician, Upendra. He has recently released a video saying that there has been a demand for many years that Kannadigas should be given first preference in jobs in the state but it is not happening. 'I will sit on a hunger strike on August 14th and 15th at Mahatma Gandhi statue demanding jobs for the locals. I appeal to the unemployed to join me in my hunger strike.', the actor said.
