World Bank Releases Statement On Amaravati

The World Bank has released a statement on its website saying that it continues to support Andhra Pradesh with an over one billion USD program. The World Bank has mentioned that it will help to finance sectors covering the health, agriculture, energy and disaster management. The World Bank's statement comes in the backdrop of its dropping a 300 million USD loan proposal for the Amaravati Development Project. The AP government might seek World Bank assistance for funding the flagship Navaratnalu program that was aimed at improving the living standards of citizens in the state.
