Victory for India: ICJ orders stay on Kulbhushan Jadhav sentence

Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was sentenced to death by the Pakistani military court on charges of espionage after a closed trial in April 2017 evoked a sharp reaction in India, it is well known. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) after going through the details of the case, ruled in favor of India on merits. ICJ has ordered stay on Kulbhushan Jadhav's sentence. The senior judge Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf has read out the verdict in a public sitting at the Peace Palace in The Hague.
