AP Legislative Council: TDP & YSRCP Verbal war over illegal constructions

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council has witnessed a dialogue war between the ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP over the illegal construction and demolition of buildings in the catchment area of Krishna river in Vijayawada. AP Municipal Administration Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has announced in the state Legislative Council that notices have been issued to the owners of 26 illegal structures raised around Krishna riverfront. AP Minister has made it clear that after they get the reply from the said notices, the state government will initiate the action. On the other hand, the opposition members have alleged that Praja Vedika has been demolished as part of the revenge. TDP MLC Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has brought to the notice of members in the state council that construction and demolition are two separate issues. He has alleged that construction of some of the illegal structures took place during the tenure of late CM YSR and added that demolition process of such structures has begun from late CM YSR's son Jagan, the present CM.
