CBI unearths crores of rupees worth assets at residence of GST official Bollineni Gandhi
The CBI raided the house of Bollineni Srinivasa Gandhi, who is working as an Anti-Evasion Wing Superintendent in the GST Commissionerate in Hyderabad, and found Rs 3.75 crore worth (Approximately Rs 100cr in Open Market) assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The CBI sleuths recovered property documents he had purchased in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Proddatur, Kankipadu and other places. Even, huge cash was found in the accounts of Bollineni Srinivasa Gandhi and his wife. There are allegations against the official for taking bribes from businessmen. He was also part of the ED team which probed the assets cases of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
