According to Prof K Nageshwar, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is facing the heat from government and RTC employees because of decisions taken by AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. After coming to power, Jagan took a decision to scrap the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) for the benefit of government employees. Other major decisions taken by Jagan are the announcement of 27 per cent Interim Relief (IR) to government employees and the merger of APSRTC in the state government. Nageshwar stated that government and RTC employees are exerting pressure on KCR to take decisions similar to Jagan.
