India's in-form opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of World Cup for 3 weeks due to the injury on his thumb finger. He was hit on his finger while playing his innings against Australia. Though he was hit, he continued the match. Dhawan didn't take the field during Australia's batting session and was seen nursing his thumb with an ice-pack. Ravindra Jadeja took the field in his place. The 33-year-old is likely to miss the matches against Pakistan, Afghanistan, West Indies, and England, all of which are scheduled to be played in June.
