G. Vivekanand, Advisor to Government of Telangana on Friday has resigned from the post and also quit the TRS party. Former MP has sent a resignation letter to CM KCR. He wrote, 'I bring to your kind notice that you had invited me back into the party with a word that the Peddapalli Parliament ticket will be given to me in 2019 Lok Sabha elections due to my active contribution in achieving the state of Telangana. Subsequently, I was appointed as the Advisor to Government of Telangana so I could continue serving the people of Peddapalli, like my father Late Shri Gaddam Venkatswamy did for more than 60 years. Under the current circumstances of my MP ticket being denied, I am resigning from the post'.
