Poor storyline, waste comedy and bland expressions were today's menu in Tollywood film Mr. Majnu, said film critic and reviewer, Kathi Mahesh. After elevating the characters in the first half, the story fell flat in the second half, leaving much to be desired on all counts, he said. While this is so, Akhil showed better acting skills than his previous films, but Nidhi Agerwal was a 'damp squib,' he said. Venky Atluri, who had pleased the audience with his first film, Tholi Prema, failed to live up to expectation with Mr. Majnu, he added.
